Accessible STEM activities and resources for families

About this Event

#inclusive is inviting you to the second annual STEAM on Spectrum event at the Virginia Modeling Analysis & Simulation Center (VMASC) in Suffolk, VA.

The goal of STEAM on Spectrum is to provide families inclusive, accessible resources and activities to learn about opportunities for their children to pursue learning and future careers in science, technology, engineering, art or math (STEAM).

The event is generously sponsored by IEEE Hampton Roads Section and the VMASC Industry Association and organized by VMASC, Old Dominion University, and the Mea'Alofa Autism Support Center.

Families will be able to participate in interactive and hands-on experiences in a safe and inclusive atmosphere with scientists, researchers, therapists, and teachers. Some of the experiences will include: interactive games, flight and driving simulators, interaction with robots, and converting colors to music.

This is a free event and space is limited. Don’t lose your spot, hurry and sign up before it’s too late!
