About the speaker:

Cole Blumer, President, Reliant Defense, Inc.

Reliant is a company established in 2006 for the purposes of providing export compliance consultancy services. Since that time, Reliant has supported hundreds of companies with training, export licensing, mentoring of Empowered Officials, audits, etc., as well as procedure development and program implementation.

Cole Blumer has over 30 years of experience in export compliance and international trade in the defense industry. He has worked with numerous defense, aerospace, and commercial companies in the US and abroad with internal and Government-directed audits, assessments, onsite compliance programs, licensing, specialized training, and commodity jurisdiction activities.

Prior to founding Reliant Defense, Cole served as an Empowered Official as well as worked in other business disciplines including international contracts, procurement, business development, program management, and global sustainment strategies with companies such as Lockheed Martin. During his tenure with them, Cole won multiple awards and accolades including the coveted NOVA Award, which is the corporation’s highest recognition given to an individual. As a trade compliance consultant, Cole has been heralded for his innovative approach to compliance and is recognized for his ability to train and translate the complex export laws and regulations into workable solutions in a way that makes sense for companies based on their risk profile. Cole holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration.
