How to pitch ideas, so they make sense, get peoples attention, and trigger the right reactions? 

As you possibly know, we are organizing a series of events on behalf of the Startup Weekend Social Impact and Lingnan University. This Bootcamp is a special pre-event designed for anyone to "Learn How to Pitch and Win Resources." 

Why:

From our experience, people often believe they have fantastic ideas until they voice it out in front of the audience. They might not only stack, freeze, or sounds confusing and shy, but many realize that their idea actually doesn't seem so compelling compared to others. As you can imagine, If you want to attract the best teammates to build a solid startup, and potentially win the competition and resources, you better prepare in advance. And this is precisely why we developed this workshop.

As a presenter, your goal should be simple. To help others see what you see. In other words, you have to create and deliver a captivating message so that your audience wants to know more! 

But here's the question: If presenting ideas is so easy, why most people fail to raise money, get resources, or influence the audience? The answer is simple: Because most people skip proper preparation. But you don't have to, because we've got you covered! 

What you will learn:

1. The truth - You will learn how to tell the truth in front of strangers about topics you really care about. This helps you to connect with your audience, become passionate, and find self-confidence. 

2. The story - You will learn how to simplify your own complex thoughts, so they become clear, and you can invite everybody to engage with your ideas.

3. The Mind - We will not only show you what to do but train you how to think. You will gain an understanding of the structure of pitching, so you can use it beyond this course and competition to enhance your life and career!
