This is a simple and inexpensive method of starting seeds outdoors in winter using milk jugs as the greenhouse and letting Mother Nature do the work.

Join NC Extension Master Gardener, John Bowen, as he gives you step-by-step instructions on how to winter sow, from making your own greenhouse, selecting the right soil, what types of seeds to plant and monitoring and maintaining your containers through the winter. Get a jump start on spring growing!
