Starting a Movement
Overview
The Description
Too often, church is reduced to the Sunday service, consuming most of our time, energy, and resources. But when worship gatherings become the center, discipleship and mission slip to the margins. What if belonging and everyday relational mission moved back to the center of church life? In this six-week immersion, we’ll explore the four spaces of belonging — public, social, personal, and intimate — and how Jesus modeled them in his own ministry: confiding with the three, training the twelve, mobilizing the seventy, and speaking parables to the crowds. These spaces not only shaped how he formed disciples, but also how movements spread. Together, we’ll imagine church not as another event to attend, but as a creative ecosystem of relationships where disciples are formed, neighbors are welcomed, and movements are born.
