Back by popular demand, Grow North will kick off the year with a workshop on Traction, the Entrepreneur Operating System utilized by startups throughout Minnesota. We have partnered with Sara Stern, a Traction EOS facilitator and owner of Family Business Minnesota, to lead a dynamic workshop that will not only deepen your understanding of Traction but also give you time to apply it methods to your business. This 90 minute session is designed for leaders working with Traction currently or those who have been thinking about it and are ready to take the leap. Each registrant will receive a Traction workbook and there will be time throughout for Q&A.

Sara B. Stern is on a quest to help owners get what they want from their businesses. As a a seasoned coach and trained EOS implementer she is uniquely skilled at helping businesses implement practical tools that help them get clear about their vision, gain traction toward that vision and be a healthy team. She grew up in farm country, helped her mom at their local co-op (which was their living room once a month) and has worked with and supported the local food movement for decades. She loves to spend time with friends and family, laugh at the ridiculous and work as hard as she plays. Her first business plan was for a 4 seat restaurant she wanted to run out of her parents' front yard and with her mom's garden vegetables. Unfortunately, she couldn't get zoning approval. Her worst career moment was when someone drove 20 miles out of their way to return french fries she made. The best moments in her career are witnessing people work together to grow their businesses, communities and legacies.
