Victor Carneiro is a management consultant, executive coach and technology evangelist. He has more than 25 years of Information Technology experience in management, application architecture and development, and multi-platform infrastructure. He most recently held a senior leadership position as Vice President & CIO for an insurance company in Oklahoma City where he led the transformation from waterfall to agile, building high-performing continuous delivery teams.
Victor is passionate about technology and when time permits, he teaches related classes at the University of Phoenix, where he has been an adjunct professor since 2003. He is also a member of the advisory committee for the Business Technologies Division of Oklahoma State University, Oklahoma City Campus and Vatterott College, Oklahoma City Campus. Victor is actively involved with local professional organizations where he previously served as President of PMI OKC and AITP OKC. He has also served on the advisory boards for InnoTech Oklahoma and the Oklahoma IT Symposium through the Oklahoma CIO group (formerly ISLOK).
Victor is a certified project manager (PMP) and certified scrum master (CSM). He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma and master’s degree in Information Systems from the University of Texas at Arlington.
