Event description
Please join us at CCRMA as the SNE will be presenting Nick Shaheed's piece, "Soup in. Qualia Glimmers" for ensemble and live-electronics.

About this event

In the composer's words:

The work is a live improvisation with electronics. Everyone's performances are mangled and munged in real time to create a distorted, noisy expanse.

Regarding the original title, "soup in. qualia glimmers" we came up with that by everyone providing a word and we rearranged them in a way that we liked. I figured we could try doing the same thing to come up with a new title.

This concert is open for in-person attendance to Stanford affiliates only. Please register here with your Stanford email address. Any registration with a non-Stanford email address will be discarded. Each guest must bring their Stanford ID card to tap it at the front door, and wear a mask at all times while inside the building. Please visit the CCRMA COVID Policies webpage for more information: https://ccrma.stanford.edu/docs/common/COVID-policies.html.

The concert will be live streamed to CCRMA LIVE with free access for the general public:
