Stand-Up & SHINE Six-Week Program
Overview
Our six-week Stand-Up & SHINE program takes the beloved afternoon portion of our week-long Stand-Up & SHINE Camps—the part focused on stand-up comedy and storytelling—and turns it into a deeper, after-school style experience.
From Friday, January 16 to Friday, February 20, 2026, students will meet weekly to:
- Develop confidence and public speaking skills in a supportive, fun environment
- Explore their strengths, hobbies, and interests through the SHINE framework
- Practice processing and communicating real-life experiences through stand-up comedy and storytelling
Grounded in the SHINE framework, this series places a special emphasis on the E in SHINE (Experiences), helping students turn what they’ve lived through into meaningful, laughter-filled stories they feel proud to share.
