Students ages 8–16 participating in our Stand-Up & SHINE Camps (stand-up comedy and storytelling camp) will take the stage for a one-of-a-kind live comedy showcase at House of Shine!
Each performer will be assigned to either Act 1 or Act 2. Act 1 runs from 6:00–7:00 p.m., and Act 2 runs from 8:00–9:00 p.m. on Friday, August 8. Doors open 30 minutes prior to each act—5:30 p.m. for Act 1 and 7:30 p.m. for Act 2— and seating is first come, first serve so come early to grab a snack and a seat!
This event invites students to tap into their SHINE (and more specifically their Experiences) by transforming their personal stories into hilarious and relatable stand-up comedy sets. It’s a powerful opportunity for young people to build confidence, explore self-expression, and share their stories with a live audience.
