About this event

This unique show combines the best of stand-up with improvisation. Our performers will take the stage and create an entirely off-the-cuff stand-up set based on a never-before-seen list of suggestions from the audience. It's stand-up. It's improv. It's Stand-up Meets Improv and it's hilarious. Note: Since each show features a guest comic, we recommend this show for adults only.


Each week a new guest comedian takes the open mic spot to open the show with some traditional stand-up comedy. Here's the list of our upcoming guests:

Since 2011, the Alchemy Comedy Theater has been running weekly improv shows in Downtown Greenville, SC. Every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7:30 and 9:00 pm there is a completely new comedy show that has never been seen before and will never be seen again. Greenville has street parking available as well as several nearby parking garages.

Since 2011, the Alchemy Comedy Theater has been Greenville’s only weekly improv, sketch, and stand-up comedy venue. All shows are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights at 7:30pm and 9:00pm in Greenville’s iconic Coffee Underground theater. Tickets can be purchased online (with no extra fees) or at the door with cash or credit. All seating is general admission and all our shows start on time, so we recommend arriving at least 15 minutes in advance. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late your seat may be sold without a refund. Street parking is available as well as several nearby parking garages. Please be aware that our location is below street level and not accessible to some with physical limitations.
