Please join Darren Walker, President of the Ford Foundation, and Gary Bass, Executive Director of the Bauman Foundation, for a telephone conference to share updates and answer questions regarding the aligned funding response to assure a fair and accurate 2020 Census.

In partnership with nonprofit leaders and funder allies, we have developed a multi-pronged national plan to achieve a fair and accurate census. Research, communications, legal advocacy, partnership development, and outreach must happen to achieve this goal. While $19 million has been raised to support this work, we need to raise an additional $35 million to put this plan into action. The census is crucial to advancing our missions – whether we focus on improving education or health care, addressing poverty and inequity, strengthening democracy, or fostering a strong local community. A poorly conducted 2020 census would have a detrimental impact across government, the private sector, and civil society for the decade ahead.
