Adult Stand-Up 101 SUMMER SESSION
The Crow offers you the opportunity to find your personal comedic voice and point of view! This course helps you write your own material and learn the concepts of joke structure, building a story, premise, and punch line all while building confidence in public speaking and communication. We work on stage presence, finding courage to keep going when the going gets rough, thinking on your feet, and finding the funny! This 6 week course meets once a week for 3 hours, culminating in a public stand-up/storytelling show on The Crow’s main stage.

About your teacher, Sam!
Sam Morrison made his television debut on Late Night With Seth Meyers and since has been named a Just For Laughs New Face, performed on Comedy Central Featuring, and been featured on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, The Drew Barrymore Show, Howard Stern, and more. He has been featured at the New York Comedy Festival, Netflix is a Joke Festival, RuPauls’ DragCon, and as a Stand Up NBC Finalist. His solo shows have garnered international acclaim, his latest extended Off-Broadway 4x and was called "the best new show in New York" by The Daily Beast. He is popular for his tightly honed joke writing and captivating storytelling. Time Out raves: “Endlessly charming…Don't resist; you're about to be converted to the fandom!”
