How do I get to Ulrich Recital Hall?

Ulrich Recital Hall is located inside the Tawes Hall on the University of Maryland campus, between Knight Hall and the Art-Sociology Building. The Ulrich Recital Hall is located on the first floor of Tawes Hall. You can find more details at https://theclarice.umd.edu/ulrich-recital-hall.

Located behind Tawes Hall are free parking lots 1b, Z, JJ2 and JJ3. Do not park in Lot JJ1 as it is restricted parking. You can find more details by scrolling down to the 'Parking' section at https://theclarice.umd.edu/ulrich-recital-hall.

Doors open at 4:30pm. The reading begins at 5:00pm.

Staged Reading of Omo Mi the play: Family & Friends Edition

Omo Mi, written by Sadia Alao and directed by Jasmine Mitchell & Whitney Jarrett, is an award-winning coming-of-age one act play about a young Nigerian-American girl faced with an unexpected pregnancy, a potential abortion, and conflict with her traditional Muslim mother.

“Omo Mi” translates to “My Child” in Yoruba

Guests are also invited to stay for a post-Reading talk back.
