?What is Strategic Self-Advocacy™?

Strategic Self-Advocacy™ (SSA™) is a framework that supports people with lived experience—especially disability—to speak up safely, change systems, and get paid for their insight. It’s about using your experience with intention, not just emotion.

Who is this event for?

This session is for current NDIS participants who want to build confidence in self-advocacy, planning, and system change. If you’re not in the NDIS but want to join future sessions, please fill out this short form.

How long does the session go for?

⏱ Just 10 minutes — short, calm, and to the point.

Will I get any resources?

Yes! You’ll receive a free visual worksheet that explains the difference between advocacy and strategic advocacy in Easy Read–inspired format.

Do I have to talk or go on camera?

No. You don’t need to share anything, be on video, or even use the chat unless you want to.

What happens after the session?

Should you wish you’ll get an email with: More SSA™ tools Ability to register interest in the full course Ask questions if you’d like to learn more or are confused about anything

Can I share this with someone else?

Yes — as long as they are also an NDIS participant and are looking for tools to support their advocacy journey.
