The Washington State Department of Transportation and Skanska will host an in-person open house on August 21 to give an update on construction for the SR 520 Portage Bay Bridge and Roanoke Lid Project

At the open house, you will be get an update on construction and design progress and more:

  • On land and in water piledriving activities
  • Traffic changes on neighborhood streets and SR 520
  • Utility relocation work on Boyer Avenue East, East Roanoke Street and 10th Avenue East
  • Construction for temporary bridges and ramps on SR 520

Parking: Limited free parking is available on site. Carpooling is encouraged.

Transit Access: Transit users can take Metro Route 49 to Roanoke Park and walk or roll to the event.
