Squalid Gold: Stand-up Comedy Showcase

Squalid Gold Comedy School was started by Lauren Kincheloe in 2021. Looking to make Kingston a funnier place, she set up a mic in the back of the Stockade Tavern and enrolled her first 8 students. As the culmination of this workshop, these students performed their sets for a small audience. And they crushed.

Five classes later, she has unleashed 40 new comics into the community, many of whom have continued to hone the craft.
