Spring Wreathmaking and Flower Crafting
Overview
Join us for a springtime walk through Garden for the Environment to gather beautiful seasonal flowers and green that you will use to create a spring wreath or vibrant garden swag to take home with you! Part exploration and part creativity, you'll gain skills to create your own natural pieces for your home in every season.
Instructors:
Our expert instructor Carey Craddock is a horticulturalist and supporter of GFE who has been gardening and teaching others to garden in San Francisco since 1997. She runs Carey Craddock Gardens where she specializes in edible gardening, drought-tolerant, and native plant gardening.
jordan kushins (she / her) writes about creative places, people, and things; draws everything from seagulls to salvias; makes ceramic jewelry and other crafts; and gardens weekly with Carey Craddock, and kids at the Up On Top! program at the Tenderloin Rec Center. She’s a proud Garden for the Environment Get Up! grad, and has since designed sweatshirts, hats, pins, and signs for GFE.
