AMT for General Civil and Domestic Relations Mediators  

SCAO-approved for up to eight (8) hours of advanced mediation training required by MCR 2.411(F)(4) and MCR 3.216(G)(3) to remain on court rosters. (The full 8 hours consists of 7 hours in-class training plus 1 hour pre-session work. See * immediately below.)

*Pre-Session Play-by-Play– view and reflect on a mediation video; details sent upon registration. (*Participants must submit “homework” BY FEBRUARY 22, 2021 for the full 8 hours of AMT credit. There is NO make-up for this element of the training.)

Training Day Hours: Registration opens at 8:30. Training begins promptly at 9:00. The online schedule will be provided when you register.

• Moneyball Mediation – Consider a range of strategies to help parties negotiate and respond to demands to “Show me the money!”
• Mediator Coaching – Share challenges and questions from your own experience and receive practice tips from teammates and other players.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? Since it is now online, you can stay at home or in your office! No travel, no parking, no courthouse security screening. Just pick a quiet location without distractions and well lit so we can see your face.
