The New York Chapter of the Association for Gravestone Studies (AGS) is pleased to announce its spring meeting. The event will take place on May 21, 2016 at the Gardner Earl Memorial Chapel, Oakwood Cemetery in Troy, NY, from 8:30 am to 2:45 pm. In the afternoon a walking tour of the cemetery will be offered, led by Toni Craft, President of The Friends of Oakwood Cemetery.

Cemetery walking tour led by Toni Craft, President of The Friends of Oakwood Cemetery (the tour costs $10, with proceeds to benefit The Friends of Oakwood Cemetery, payable at check-in by cash or check). Maps will be provided for those who prefer a self-guided visit.
Oakwood closes at 7:00 pm and attendees are welcome to explore the cemetery until that time.

Suggested Donation:
Suggested donation for attendance is $10 per person ($5 for AGS members, seniors and students; payable by cash or check) to help cover meeting costs and support the Chapter. Donations will be collected at the event.

The event will take place at the Gardner Earl Memorial Chapel, Oakwood Cemetery, 186 Oakwood Avenue, Troy, NY 12182. Refreshments:
Coffee and tea will be provided throughout the morning, and refreshments will be provided during the break. Pizza will be provided for lunch courtesy of Joseph Ferrannini of Grave Stone Matters, Hoosick Falls, NY.
