Join our annual celebration of families formed by adoption, foster care and kinship connections!
Children will enjoy a morning of games and activities while parents, caregivers and older youth participate in inspiring personal development workshops.
The morning begins with a Keynote address "What Really Works and What Doesn't for Tough Kids" by Dr. Bruce Thyer, author of "Science and Pseudoscience in Social Work". Parents and caregivers then have a choice of breakout sessions. Youth are invited to participate in a special workshop activity designed just for them.
Families reunite for a box lunch and then are invited to a Fun Fair, complete with games, prizes, facepainting and balloon art!
Cost is $5 per person, and includes all activites and boxed lunch. Children under age 3 are free, but must be registered.
Children and youth with special needs are welcome; please be sure to describe the specific needs when you register, so we can be ready!
