Spring Branch Trail Walk & Talk
Overview
On Saturday, January 24, get on your walking shoes and put on your scarves and gloves for a post-New Year's walk-and-talk along the Spring Branch Trail!
Houston Parks Board and Fit Houston are hosting the walk-and-talk, in coordination with the Spring Branch Management District, to showcase the trail's design features and encourage discussion among homeowners and residents about living next to trails.
The walk-and-talk will feature:
- Spanish interpretation services
- Free snacks and refreshments
- Stretching session led by Fit Houston
- Interactive walk along the trail led by the nonprofit Houston Parks Board
- Opportunity to meet homeowners and residents who live along the trail
- Chance to win gift cards and freebies
This is a family-friendly and pet-friendly event. Meetup location will be at the back end of Schwartz Park near the Spring Branch Trail entrance. Drive past the baseball fields until you see the white Houston Parks Board tent.
The Spring Branch Trail is part of a vision for an 11-mile hike-and-bike trail through the heart of Spring Branch from Addicks Reservoir to White Oak Bayou Greenway, which connects to downtown and beyond.
Please note: When you register for this event, your email will be shared with Fit Houston for their email blasts to be kept in the loop on free fitness offerings!
