About this Event

Come join us virtually for this free info session to learn more about the Tech Exploration Lab, a digital playspace for exploring and experimenting with new tech. All majors welcome.

Find out about ways to get involved with the Hyper Innovation Tech Exploration Lab and get ready for an action-packed Spring with opportunities for participation in challenges, hackathons, hands-on projects, and resources available to either work on industry-driven challenges or grow your own ideas.

Students will be introduced to the opportunities in the Hyper Innovation Digital Health Test Bed, with de-identified data sets and simulated test environments.

Students will also be introduced to an opportunity to explore the applications of virtual reality, with Holos, a local VR startup.

There will also be more information on the resources available for self-guided exploration and experimentation.

While this is a student event, industry professionals from companies and institutions are welcome to attend to learn more about mentoring, pressure testing new products and ideas, and engaging with students. A segment of the agenda will be allocated for companies to present a brief snapshot of their interests, reverse pitch ideas, challenges, and projects if desired.

We invite students from all majors including engineering, computer science, business, communications, art and design, physics, anthropology and more. Everyone is welcome. No experience is required.

Students will have the opportunity to showcase their work at the end of the semester in a Virtual Showcase on April 22, 2021.
