Spontaneous Attachment - An Immersive Dance Performance

Spontaneous Attachment - An Immersive Dance Performance

By maybe:fiction studios

Overview

An evening exploring the textures of human connection through ritual, dance, and music.

Join us for an immersive dance performance designed by Ishaan Goel, choreographed by Sarah Yasmine Marazzi-Sassoon, and featuring original live music by Samuel Mutter.

Spontaneous Attachment explores intimacy and human connection through shared ritual, movement, and sound. Two dance works—a duet and a quartet, set to live original music—anchor the evening. Around and between these performances, audiences will move through a transformed Brooklyn Peace Center, engaging personally with the night’s themes and atmospheres.

Performers include dancers Nadia Benes, Lucia Betelu, Alekzeta Cantu, Magali Johnston-Viens, and Chloe Sonnet Brown, alongside musicians Samuel Mutter (flute), Suzuna Ikeda (), Sydney Scarlett (), and Ealaph Tabbaa (). With production and design support by Betta Malagon.

Produced by maybe:fiction studios in collaboration with Brooklyn Peace Center Space Residency.

There will be two separate performances.

Doors open at 4:30 PM for the first performance and 7:30 PM for the second. Please arrive on time; there will be no late seating, and doors will close when the performance begins. Each show runs approximately 90 minutes with no intermission.
