SERIES SUMMARY
Discover the deep connection between Spirit and Art in this immersive six-week series. Through storytelling, reflection, and hands-on creation, you'll cultivate a personal creative routine while exploring drawing, painting, sculpting, and other forms of making. Whether you're a seasoned artist or just beginning, this space invites you to express, connect, and create in community.
A materials list will be shared prior to the start of sessions. Please let us know of any accessibility accommodations that you may need.
Each session is a dive into stories of the African and Mexican Diaspora in relationship to Spirit in Art Practice. Beginning with a 10-minute guided meditation, we delve into these cultural stories that inform us about the spiritual practices connected to visual art expression. While we will not share the details of each class here, we will share the medium we will use in preparation.

ABOUT US
Sabrina’s Bio: As the Principal of InSimulation, my work advocates for mental and environmental health through creative action. I am a meditation teacher, multi-media artist, and architectural designer dedicated to creating sustainable solutions in the built environment and bridging those creative solutions with wellness measures. I have a fondness for storytelling and travel, drawing inspiration from the art of diverse cultures and the ancestral wisdom of the African Diaspora to create immersive and restorative experiences. My design philosophy integrates ancestral knowledge, energy work, and environmental consciousness to foster a deeper connection between space, spirit, and design.
Ayesa’s Bio: Ayesa Love is a multidisciplinary artist, educator, and visionary whose journey is shaped by both formal training and ancestral wisdom. With a BFA in Fine Art and years of experience in education, her work bridges the worlds of structure and soul. For years, she has walked alongside youth—especially those navigating behavioral challenges and special needs—offering not just instruction, but empathy and guidance.
Her spiritual practices are ancestral, intuitive and earth-honoring. Ayesa is deeply passionate about using our gifts to inspire, break generational trauma while simultaneously working on our own evolution of spirit.
As one of the Co-Founder of the Heartworkers Union, a 501(c)(3) committed to uplifting young people, she weaves together program design, mentorship, and visual storytelling—breathing life into each project through her graphic design, media direction, and creative leadership.
Her work is grounded in the belief that art is more than expression—it is medicine. Ayesa uses it to awaken emotional healing, spark cultural remembrance, and build bridges between individuals and community.
