About the Event

The Post Oak Collective invites you to our official launch event — a community-driven business social powered by Small Talk Connect and hosted at The Conservatory Galleria.

Designed for professionals, event planners, creatives, and entrepreneurs, this experience blends networking, entertainment, and media into one immersive evening. We’re creating a space where Houston’s business and creative circles can connect organically, share stories, and collaborate beyond traditional networking environments.

This isn’t your average mixer — it’s a curated community experience built to help you meet the right people, at the right time, in the right way.

The Experience

Our Game Night Business Social is divided into four interactive zones, each designed to encourage meaningful connections and creative collaboration:

1. The Networking Zone

A free-flowing space for professionals to connect naturally. Whether you’re in hospitality, marketing, real estate, wellness, tech, or creative services, you’ll find dedicated sections for industry conversations and open networking.

Enjoy complimentary welcome cocktails for early arrivals (6-7PM) and connect with other like-minded attendees in a relaxed, upscale environment.

2. The Speed Networking Zone

Structured and intentional — this section uses a timed rotation format that pairs you with new contacts based on your professional background and goals. Bring your business cards, but more importantly, bring your story.

3. The Connect Four Tournament Zone

A playful competition designed to break the ice and encourage teamwork. Participants can register on-site for a chance to win prizes while connecting with others through lighthearted fun.

4. The Media Collaboration Zone

A dedicated content space for creators, marketers, and brand builders to film quick interviews, collaborate on cross-platform videos, or take professional photos for LinkedIn and social media.

Our media team will be capturing the event to highlight attendees and amplify the stories that make Houston’s Galleria and River Oaks community unique. (We will share event recap photos with attendees post event).

This event marks the beginning of a monthly series hosted every third Wednesday of the month at The Conservatory Galleria and rotating partner venues across the district.
