About this event

The Centers for Teaching and Civic Engagement at CT State Community College, Middlesex invite you to attend a speed-networking event where you can meet faculty and staff from the Middlesex campus, as well as other community organizations. Participants will engage in 5 minute orchestrated conversations around questions, such as: Are you looking for interns or volunteers for your organization? Would you like a chance to work with students or present to a class? Do you have contacts with expertise in a discipline who may enrich student learning? Following the “speed-networking” portion, we will have time to extend these conversations into working collaborations. Through brief exchanges in a fun and social atmosphere, we will “get the conversations started” and help build stronger connections with one another and our work together in the community.
