Speech & Swim Summer Sensory Swim Parties August 9

This event is designed with sensory-sensitive individuals in mind. We offer reduced noise levels (no loud music or whistles), earlier hours to reduce heat, limited capacity, and trained, friendly staff. Our goal is to create a calm, supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable.

All are welcome. All ages. This open swim is ideal for individuals with sensory processing differences, including those with autism, ADHD, anxiety, or sensory sensitivities. Families, caregivers, and siblings are welcome to join and create fun, summer memories for a positive, inclusive experience.

No prior swimming experience required. Lifeguards and trained staff will be present and flotation devices are welcome. We recommend that non-swimmers are accompanied in water by a caregiver or guardian. There is a large 3 ft deep roped off section and a separate baby pool for younger participants.

Please bring swimsuits, towels, and any sensory tools or comfort items your swimmer may benefit from (like noise-canceling headphones, goggles, or a weighted towel). If your child uses a flotation device, feel free to bring it along—just ensure it's coast-guard approved if worn in the water.

No, however advance registration is recommended. Spots are limited to ensure a quality experience, so we recommend reserving early.

The price of admission includes lunch, however we understand food sensitivities and welcome outside food. The snack bar will be on site and open for beverages, chips, popsicles, etc as well.
