Build a team of up to 4 people and see if you can beat Lauren and Sarah! Lauren and Sarah will be on stage racing the same puzzle as all the teams. If you beat them, you win a FREE contest certificate!
Prizes will also be awarded to the top finishing teams. There will door prizes. All teams get to keep their competition puzzle.
HOW DOES IT WORK:
Each team will receive the same puzzle concealed in a bag. No one will see the puzzle before the timer starts. After a countdown, teams will open their boxes and start puzzling. A competition judge will monitor teams and record finishing times. Once you have completed your puzzle, you may leave, or stay and work on another puzzle and enjoy a drink or two!
RULES:
- You may eat and drink while competing
- You may use box top holders and sorting trays
- You are allowed to bring extra lighting as long as it does not need to be plugged in to an outlet and does not interfere with the lighting for other competitors. These are great lights to use: https://amzn.to/3IAWd7S
- You are not allowed to distract or interfere with other teams
DETAILS:
6-7pm: Optional casual puzzling happy hour. Grab a drink and warm up for the main event! Practice puzzles will be provided.
7-9pm: Speed puzzling contest starts - It's your time to shine!
Tables are a mixture of high-tops, normal height, picnic tables, and booths.
$45 per team
There are no refunds, but if you are not able to make the event, we can arrange pick-up for your contest puzzle.
