Participants of all career levels are welcome to this discovery workshop in which professionals will discuss insider tips to elevate your craft to the next level, wherever that may be for you!

BIOS:

GARY DEWITT MARSHALL is the impresario of Dark Blue Mondaze presents, an independent theatre production company. Gary has enjoyed a fruitful career in film, television , and theatre. Marshall has appeared in the series Life on Mars, Without a Trace, The Guardian, Southland, ER, and 24; as well as films The Hurricane, In & Out, Renaissance Man, Game Day, Love Walked In, and Still Water. He originated the role of freedom fighter Micheal Dube in the Tony-nominated drama The Song of Jacob Zulu. Gary’s other critically acclaimed credits “Four Men on a Couch” (2016 ROC Award Best Stage Play), “Twelve Dollars” 2017 TANYS Award for (Outstanding Direction). “Monologues on Clarissa Street”, “Blues for Mister Charlie”, “Talk”, “You Shouldn’t Have Told” and “Smudge Stick - The Pungent Aroma of Truth”

TAMARA PULLEY, after a 4 year hiatus, is IS BACK! For those of you who worked with her for the eight years that she was our booking director you know why this makes us so happy! Tamara's love for working with talent and clients comes through in every phone call and email. Her fabulous personality coupled with her attention to detail makes her a welcomed (back) addition to our office. She loves this business and has worked as a booker, talent and a stylist for nearly 20 years. If you haven't already- Join us in welcoming Tamara back!

JASON TERECI, Director of Regional Services, Breakdown Services was born and raised in Chicago and travels the country working with Casting Directors, Talent Representatives and Actors. As Director of Regional Services he assists in coordinating the release of casting information throughout North America. Jason has experienced this industry from all sides; as an alumnus of both De Paul and Columbia College Theatre schools, a former professional Actor and a Talent Rep and Casting Director liaison. He shares unique insider perspectives with the hopes that the knowledge will inspire more Actors to take control of their careers and result in sustained industry longevity and success.

JAZZ WILLIAMS aka Jazzy T, has 10 years experience casting principal, background and special talent for feature films, commercials and unscripted TV shows. Starting as an extras wrangler for Warner Brothers in California, she worked her way up and started JR Galactic Casting In 2010. Credits include Animal Planet’s FATAL ATTRACTIONS, TOUCHBACK starring Kurt Russell and SILVER BELLS starring Antonio Fargas. She is currently casting the movie DIVE BOMB, set to film right here in Rochester.

PIRRONNE YOUSEFZADEH is a director, writer, and educator, and was recently appointed Associate Artistic Director and Director of Engagement at Geva Theatre Center. Additionally, Pirronne is a founding member of Maia Directors, a consulting group for artists and organizations engaging with stories from the Middle East and beyond. Prior to relocating to Rochester, Pirronne directed and developed award-winning work presented at over 30 professional theatres while based in New York, NY and presented throughout the U.S. Her productions of The Dangerous House of Pretty Mbane by Jen Silverman (InterAct Theater Company) and In The Blood (Theatre Horizon) together received a total of fifteen Barrymore Award nominations, including Outstanding Direction and Outstanding Overall Production for both. And If You Lose Your Way, or A Food Odyssey (Invisible Dog) received nominations for Outstanding Ensemble and Outstanding Performance Art Production from New York Innovative Theatre Awards.
