About this event

  • Event lasts 4 hours

We've obtained access to the workings of a real boatyard with nautical photographer Richard Sherman. Boatyards are dynamic environments that offer lots of opportunities to photograph a variety of subjects, such as old and new boats, rusty tools and shiny hulls, boatwrights and sailmakers, nautical equipment and seaside birds. We will exercise many of our photographic muscles, from portraiture to water abstracts, from high-ISO indoor shots to brightly lit outdoor scenes and from close-up images of boat details to sailing landscapes.

"Rich…is incredible, so extremely knowledgeable. I learned so much from him. There is much more to good photography than pressing the shutter button. " JK
