StandWithUs speaker Hussein Aboubakr will speak on "Antisemitism in Arab Culture: Origins and Possible Solutions"

About this Event

StandWithUs speaker Hussein Aboubakr returns to North Carolina.

Born in 1989 in Egypt to an Arab Muslim family, Hussein Aboubakr Mansour left a warm loving family, a homeland, and culture in favor of fulfilling his deepest moral convictions. Due to government persecution related to his advocacy for tolerance and peace and for countering antisemitism, Hussein left Egypt to become a political refugee in the US. He is currently working on his autobiography, A Minority of One, which discusses his childhood in Egypt and radicalization in Salafist mosques.Hussein will also be speaking in Boone and to college students at Elon and Duke.

This event is hosted by StandWithUs, Voice4Israel, NC Coalition for Israel, and Meredith College
