Speak with Strength is a practical, skills-based communication workshop designed for women who want to build confidence, communicate with clarity, and navigate challenging conversations both at work and at home.

This live virtual session helps participants strengthen essential professional communication skills needed for today’s workplace, including emotional regulation during stress, self-advocacy, boundary-setting, and confident verbal expression.

This training is especially helpful for women returning to work after career gaps, transitioning into new roles, preparing for interviews, or rebuilding workplace confidence.

Participants leave with immediate tools they can use to improve job conversations, workplace interactions, home communication, and professional self-presentation.


What You Will Learn

In this workshop, participants will gain:

    Lyon Coaching Group, founded by Rae Lyon, brings an incredible 30+ years of experience in management, leadership, coaching and training across a diverse range of industries, including banking, education, finance, government, human resources, insurance, law enforcement, and manufacturing. Rae’s career is a testament to her passion for empowering individuals and organizations to thrive.For over 18 years, Rae served as the associate director of the University of Missouri’s Missouri Training Institute, where she designed and delivered engaging, research-based training programs in supervision, management, and leadership to organizations across the state and beyond. She was also co-host of The Weekly Workplace, a top-ranked podcast in Missouri. Before that, she spent 7 years inspiring students as a high school teacher and a decade leading teams as a banking center vice president.As an ICF-certified coach, Rae holds certifications in Gallup’s CliftonStrengths, Emotional Intelligence (EQ-i 2.0), and the Energy Leadership Index (ELI), bringing a wealth of tools to every coaching and training session. She enjoys volunteering her time and expertise to The Honor Foundation and Women’s Employment Network.
