About this event

  • Event lasts 4 hours

We’re teaming up with the amazing Buffalo Macrame for a one-of-a-kind creative mashup where steel meets string! 🎉

Buffalo Macrame began when founder Andrea Silvestrini received a vintage plant hanger as a housewarming gift and got instantly hooked. What started as a hobby turned into a passion during lockdown—knotting her way to calm, creativity, and connection. With a background in teaching, Andrea now shares the joy of macrame through hands-on workshops that inspire and empower.

In this unforgettable 4-hour experience, you’ll:

  • Learn to weld + bend steel to craft your own metal plant hanger 💥
  • Head upstairs to macrame the perfect finishing touch with Andrea ✨
  • Walk away with your own functional sculpture—and a serious confidence boost!

No experience needed—just bring your adventurous spirit (and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty). We’ll provide:

  • All materials (metal, rope, pot—yes, the whole thing!)
  • Safety gear + personalized instruction
  • A badass bandana
  • Lots of laughs and new connections

Limited to 16 spots for max creativity and attention.
All women, gender non-binary, and gender expansive folks welcome.

Let’s weld. Let’s knot. Let’s make magic.

Workshop House Rules – Keep It Fun & Safe!

🚗 Be on Time & Respect Others' Time: Plan ahead! It’s about 50 minutes from Rochester, so make sure to arrive 10 minutes before class start time. Late arrivals disrupt the class, and we want everyone to get the full experience!

🚫 No Pre-Gaming: For safety reasons (and because we’re working with sparks & metal!), absolutely no alcohol, marijuana, or any substances before or during class. Let’s keep it clear-headed and creative!

No Refunds for Rule Breaks: We take these guidelines seriously. If you don’t follow them, you’ll have to sit this one out—no exceptions, no refunds.
