Pitch your venture concept for a chance to win up to $1,000 at the SPARK VIU Pitch Competition! All businesses are welcomed.

🎤 Pitch Competition: December 12, 2025, 3–5 PM
📍 Location: VIU Building 305 Room 444 (in-person)
🎉 Bonus: Holiday gathering to follow!

This event is open to the entire VIU community — students, staff, faculty, and recent alumni. You’ll have 3 minutes to present your idea to a panel of expert judges followed by a 2-5 min Q&A session.

Who Can Participate

General Participation (non-pitching)

VIU Members Competing for Cash Prizes

You must be:

• A VIU student, staff, faculty, or recent alumni
• Participating individually or in a team of up to five
• Team lead must be a VIU student/staff/faculty/alumnI. Other team members do not need to be affiliated with VIU. The pitch can be delivered by either the team lead or all team members
