Meeting theme:
NASA Technology Transfer Program (Spinoff Technologies)
The Space for Kentucky Roundtable is a monthly meeting about bringing the space industry to Kentucky. It is about networking, education, and social support for those that are reaching for the stars.
This month we are focusing on NASA's Technology Transfer Program. This program can bring technology to the Commonwealth and help build industry.
The NASA Technology Transfer program ensures that innovations developed for exploration and discovery are broadly available to the public, maximizing the benefit to the Nation. We will have representatives from NASA and Space Foundation to talk about what it is, how to use it and its benefits. We also have two companies that have been successful recipients of transfer technologies from space.
ActivePure used NASA tech to help fight the pandemic and provide cleaner air.
Zibrio is nominated for NASA invention of the year for its fall prevention innovation.
