What is Sovereign Summit 2025 all about?

It’s not a survival show audition. It’s a weekend designed for men to disconnect from the noise, reconnect with God, and build brotherhood that lasts. Think less Bear Grylls, more bonfires, laughter, and conversations that actually matter.

Where is it?

Tobyhanna State Park, PA. Translation: woods, lakes, trails, and plenty of space for campfires and breakthroughs.

Question 3

What should I bring?

This is a BYOE (Bring Your Own Everything) event—tent, sleeping bag, food, and essentials. BUT… if you don’t have everything, don’t sweat it. We’ve got extra gear, and brothers willing to share. Reach out ahead of time and we’ll make sure you’re covered.

What if I forget something important?

Relax. We’re not dropping you on a deserted island. Tobyhanna isn’t remote—if you forget gear, food, or even your toothbrush, you can always make a Walmart run. Of course, if you’d rather bring only a knife and whittle your own spoon by firelight, that’s on you.

What if I’ve never camped before?

Perfect. Some guys pitch tents like pros. Others, well… Kiki couldn’t chop wood with an axe if it split itself. Last year, one elder set up in a WWII tent while the rest of us were still figuring out how not to burn our eyebrows. Bottom line: You don’t need to be Rambo. Just show up.

What’s the sleeping setup like?

It’s car camping—not a hike up Mount Everest. You’ll park near the site and set up within walking distance. Some guys bring air mattresses, others rock sleeping bags, one brother even brought quilts and what we thought were his wife’s rain boots. There’s no judgment here—but there will be jokes.

What’s the food situation?

This year is potluck style. Everyone brings meals to share—breakfasts, lunches, dinners. Last year, we had so much food it turned into family-style feasts. Bring your favorite dish, your campfire cooking skills (or lack thereof), and be ready to eat like kings.

Can I bring drinks or cigars?

Accepted Answer

Nope. Save the cigars and craft beers for another occasion. This weekend we’re focused on a different kind of Spirit.

Question 9

Do I have to stay overnight?

Accepted Answer

Not at all. Some men camp. Others book hotels nearby and still join for all the action. No judgment either way—you’ll get the same brotherhood, the same breakthroughs.

Question 10

Can I bring my son, nephew, or brother?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. All men are welcome. Minors must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. It’s a great way to share the experience across generations.

Can I sponsor someone else to attend?

Accepted Answer

Yes! If you can’t make it but want to bless another man with the experience, you can cover his registration. We’re more than happy to connect him with the brotherhood.

I’m not religious. Is this for me?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. We’re about building strong men and stronger communities. Yes, our foundation is in faith, but you don’t need to know the Bible cover-to-cover to belong here.

What happens if it rains?

Accepted Answer

We get wet. Bring a jacket. This is about brotherhood, not comfort zones. Besides, nothing bonds men faster than trying to start a fire in the rain.

What’s the schedule like?

Friday 12 PM → Sunday 10 AM. That’s two nights of campfires, stories, workshops, and enough laughs to keep the bears away (along with that one veteran’s legendary snoring).

What if I can’t arrive on Friday?

Accepted Answer

No problem. Roll in Saturday morning and you’ll still catch the heart of the weekend. We’ll save you a plate—and probably a nickname.
