But local LGBTQ+ residents still experience poorer health, worse healthcare, more homelessness and food insecurity, and persistent stigma, discrimination and hate crime.
Southwark Council’s new LGBTQIA+ Health Needs Assessment presents the data and outlines what’s needed to improve residents’ health and wellbeing.
