About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Southwark is home to one of the largest populations of LGBTQIA+ individuals in the UK - 1 in 12 residents are lesbian, gay or bisexual, and 1 in 80 are trans. But local LGBTQ+ residents still experience poorer health, worse healthcare, more homelessness and food insecurity, and persistent stigma, discrimination and hate crime.

Southwark Council’s new LGBTQIA+ Health Needs Assessment presents the data and outlines what’s needed to improve residents’ health and wellbeing.

Come to the report launch on Wed 24th Sep to hear more about local data, community responses, and how your organisation can help drive change.

Wed 24/9/25, 5.30-7.30 pm (presentations from 5.45 pm)

Southwark Council, 160 Tooley St SE1 2QH
