South Perth Learning Centre Open Day

South Perth Learning Centre is proud to celebrate 40 years as an Adult Learning Centre dedicated to lifelong learning, creativity, and community connection. Since opening in 1985, the Centre has supported adults of all ages to explore new skills, meet others, and stay engaged through education and shared interests.

To mark this milestone, we welcome members and the wider community to a special celebration event. The day will include a raffle valued at $390—including a $100 gift voucher proudly sponsored by Preston Street IGA—a sausage sizzle, live entertainment, and a variety of adult-focused art, craft, and mahjong demonstrations, along with displays of student work from our courses and clubs.

Guests are encouraged to meet our facilitators and explore the broad range of Adult Learning courses offered each term, including language programs, visual arts and craft workshops, music, technology skills, lifestyle learning, and community social groups. New term enrolments will be opening soon, and our team will be available to provide information and support.

We look forward to celebrating 40 years of adult learning together—and continuing to grow with our community into the future.
