About this event

Come hang out for a fun, relaxed 3-hour sourdough workshop where we’ll roll up our sleeves, get our hands in some dough, and dive into the basics of baking delicious sourdough at home.

Whether you’ve never touched a starter or you’ve tried a few loaves and want to build your confidence, this class is all about learning by doing—and having a good time while we’re at it.

What to Expect:

  • Intro to Sourdough – We’ll go over a comprehensive beginner-friendly guide that breaks down the essentials.
  • Feed Your Starter – You’ll feed a jar of sourdough starter in class and take it home to continue your baking journey.
  • Hands-On Dough Work – Mix, fold, and shape dough together so you can see and feel what each stage should look like.
  • Practice Scoring & Bake a Loaf – Learn to use a bread lame and score your own half-loaf, which we’ll bake during class for you to take home and enjoy.

You’ll Leave With:

  • A jar of active sourdough starter, fed during class
  • Dough you mixed and shaped yourself, ready to bake at home
  • A half-loaf you scored and baked in class
  • An informal sourdough packet with tips, key terms, troubleshooting advice, and baking timelines
