About this event

Relax and unwind in meditation to the sounds of crystal bowls and Native rain sticks as Amy Nolte creates the sounds of the forest for you.

Learn how the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku evolved in the 1980s as forest bathing, a (fully clothed) form of mediation in nature to reduce blood pressure and cortisol (stress) levels. The trees produce more than oxygen for you...find out how you benefit from breathing in these helpful, organic compounds!

Participants are welcome to bring a yoga mat, pillow and blanket for the sound bath meditation. Chairs will be set up for those preferring seated meditation. Recommended attire for the forest bathing: closed toe shoes, socks and pants, rain gear if needed.
