Sound Journey: Root & Rest

By Jewish Community Center of San Francisco

Overview

Release, restore, and realign in a restorative sound bath inspired by the quiet awakening of winter.

Sound baths have become popular, but The Logos Method takes it to another level with a unique medicinal approach. It guides you into deeper meditation, unlocking profound inner realms, and teaching you to embrace silence and hear the spirit. This immersive journey helps shift from the sympathetic to parasympathetic nervous system, revitalizing your spirit, boosting your energy, and offering a sanctuary from the demands of daily life. You will leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

How to prepare for your sound journey?

Spend some time imagining the prayers or intentions you’d like to set for your Sound Journey. Bring these prayers and intentions into the room. There will be time for personal reflection before we begin our sound experience. Do not eat a heavy meal before the Journey.

What to bring?

Wear warm and comfortable clothing (although the space will be heated, it is a large room and may get cold), bring a yoga mat, sleeping bag or blankets, a pillow to support your head and a water bottle.

Sound Journeys with The Logos Method will be offered monthly through December. Keep an eye out for upcoming dates and details.
