Plan today. Live more fully tomorrow.
Death is part of life — and planning for it doesn’t make it happen sooner. Giving conscious attention to your healthcare wishes actually frees you (and your loved ones) to enjoy the present. Join us for a friendly, hands-on Advanced Care Directive Workshop where we’ll make planning simple, clear, and even a little bit fun.
Why come?
• Because procrastination costs your peace of mind.
• Because planning today protects tomorrow — for you and for the people who love you.
• Because completing a directive DOES NOT increase the chance of dying; it gives you control over how you live and how you’re cared for.
What you’ll do & learn
- Complete a clear, advanced directive template — leave with a draft (or a signed copy).
- Learn legal end-of-life options for relieving suffering and who qualifies for which option.
- Clarify your personal values and define your own “minimum acceptable quality of life.”
- Work through common, real-world scenarios so your wishes are unambiguous and easy to follow.
- Learn the practical next steps to make your documents legally effective (witnesses, notarization, POLST).
- Explore eco-friendly after-death care choices and how to pre-plan them now in order to save $ and for peace of mind.
