On November 1, 2025, Dominique Jordan will debut ‘Souled Out’, a powerful solo exhibition that explores the depth and resilience of the African American soul. Through striking, layered works of art, ‘Souled Out’ reimagines the idea of being “sold out” as an act of soulful devotion - whether to faith, to identity or to the spirit itself.
‘Souled Out’ speaks to the essence of the African American soul - resilient, creative and rooted in spirit. The exhibition honors both the beauty and the struggle of our shared experience, serving as a meditation on faith, resilience, and identity and capturing where hardship and transcendence meet.
The opening night celebration will extend beyond the gallery walls, offering a vibrant, multi-sensory experience. Guests will enjoy:
- DJ-curated sounds to set the rhythm of the night by DJ Holladizzle.
- Poetry and spoken word performances that echo the themes of devotion, struggle, and soulful truth by poets: Andrea ‘Vocab’ Sanderson, Phetote Mshairi and Jihada
- Light refreshments for an atmosphere of fellowship.
This evening of art, sound, and expression promises to be both a celebration and a testimony of endurance - the soul made visible, unbroken, and alive.
