Sony 101: Introduction to Sony Cameras and Lenses is a beginner-friendly, hands-on course designed to help you get comfortable with Sony’s powerful mirrorless camera systems.

You’ll learn the fundamentals of using Sony Alpha and ZV cameras and explore the E-mount lens system. Whether you’re new to photography or transitioning to Sony gear, this class will help you build confidence behind the camera. No prior photography experience required — just bring your curiosity and your camera if you have one!

What You’ll Learn:

• Overview of Sony’s Alpha and ZV camera lineup
• Using Sony’s autofocus tools — Real-Time Tracking and Eye AF
• Learn your camera’s buttons, menus, and customizable controls

 

This class is being held in the classroom on the third floor of Samy’s Camera in Los Angeles.

Instructor Bio:

Karla Campos Is a Sony Tech Specialist and member of Sony Imaging Solutions. With over 10 years of photography experience, Karla has developed her passion for photography through storytelling. Stories are what drive her photography. Karla loves meeting new people and spreading her knowledge and passion for photography with others. She loves to travel and has the opportunity to do so as a Sony Camera Tech Rep. Karla enjoys sharing her knowledge of the latest products and technology in photography with dealers and customers.
