Sonoma Sips: A Pop-Up Wine Tasting Experience at the Museum of Sonoma County
Weekend from May 17 – June 8, 2025 | Santa Rosa, CA
Swirl, sip, and savor the story of Sonoma—right inside the Museum!
Sonoma Sips is a one-of-a-kind interactive pop-up FUNdraiser where wine tasting meets local history. For a limited time, take a seat at the digital tasting table (genrously provided by Ideum) and explore curated flights that bring Sonoma County’s wine heritage to life.
Whether you’re a seasoned wine lover or totally new to tasting (and not sure what you’re "supposed to be smelling or tasting")—this experience is for you. It’s approachable, fun, and ideal for beginners, while offering enough depth to challenge even the most developed palates.
Led by local sommelier Timothy Skok, each tasting explores a different theme:
· May 23-25: Historic Pioneers – Taste from the vineyards that started it all
· May 30-June 1: Unique Varietals – Discover how global styles thrive in Sonoma
· June 6-8: Alexander Valley – Explore bold, modern wines from a legendary region
With just four seats at the table, it’s a social, sensory, and intimate experience where you’ll pour, swirl, and learn as you go. Interactive guides and expert tips help you connect each glass to the land, the winemakers, and the Museum’s broader exhibitions.
Best of all—it’s a pop-up FUNdraiser that supports the Museum of Sonoma County’s exhibitions, education programs, and community events.
Includes Museum admission and full tasting experience. Space is limited. The time is now to reserve your seat at the table!
