About this Event

"Lind's project is genuinely fascinating. It's a pleasure to be able to offer him the encouragement to see it through."

-Paul Muldoon, Irish poet and Pulitzer Prize-winning artist

J Lind is a folk musician and touring artist whose work is inspired by stories and reflections from hospice. As a student at Princeton, J served as project leader for Ascend Hospice and Princeton Music Outreach, two civic service groups aimed at forging connections between students and hospice patients. Following the release of his debut EP in 2017, he studied philosophy at Oxford before interning at CanSupport, a home-based palliative care NGO in New Delhi, India.

J has performed for audiences in more than thirty states, including for palliative care teams at Seattle Children’s and Johns Hopkins, and has been named a 2018-19 Dale Fellow for his creative engagement with hospice.
