Sound and Somatics: A Journey Within
Embark on a transformative journey that harmonizes the healing power of sound with the wisdom of your body. This workshop series, "Sound and Somatics: A Journey Within," invites you to explore the profound connection between sound, movement, and breath.
In a tranquil and supportive space, you'll be guided through gentle stretching and yoga postures, designed to open your body and facilitate deeper, more expansive breathing. Immersive soundscapes, created with instruments like singing bowls, gongs, and chimes, will wash over you, promoting relaxation and releasing tension.
Through the interplay of movement, breath, and sound, you'll cultivate a heightened awareness of your inner landscape. This series offers a unique opportunity to:
- Release physical and emotional blockages
- Calm the mind and nervous system
- Enhance your body's natural healing abilities
- Deepen your connection to self
- Experience a profound sense of peace and well-being
Each week will have a different theme in alignment with the date, astrology, season, moon, or other relevant happening. The themes with their respective dates are listed below:
4/20: Mother Gaia Medicine & Meet Your Guides meditation - in honor of earth day and non-denominational Easter offerings. We will be utilizing the medicine of Mother Earth in the form of Blue Lotus tea.
4/27: New Moon Workshop w/ 5 element activation. The 5 element activation will be a monthly new moon offering focusing on a different element each month in the respective sign. For 4/27 we will be activating the element of Wood & Air. Different traditions have different interpretations of the 5 elements between astrology, taoism, chinese medicine, etc. Therefore, we will offer activation for both to allow alignment with your individual beliefs/values.
5/4: 5/5 portal event
5/11: Sunset & Full Moon Walk with guided meditation both outside and ending inside
5/18: Kav@, Clearing & Cord Cutting
