About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

This fun and experimental workshop offers a unique integration of somatic practices, theater exercises, and play therapy, designed to help adults reconnect with their bodies and foster a sense of play.As adults, many of us drift away from our natural sense of play. We learn to tone ourselves down, fit into socially acceptable roles, and navigate a world that often rewards control over curiosity. In the process, we lose touch with our inner child—the part of us that knows how to feel deeply, move freely, and express joy without hesitation!

Through guided movement, improvisational games, and collaborative play, you'll have space to:

  • Engage in fun, low-pressure movement and improvisational games
  • Participate in creative group activities that foster connection and trust
  • Release mental tension and emotional rigidity through embodied play
  • Practice tuning into your inner child in a safe, supportive space
  • Step outside of societal “shoulds” and into authentic self-expression
  • Experience joy, laughter, and aliveness through movement and play

What You’ll Walk Away With:

  • A deeper connection to your body and intuition
  • Greater comfort expressing yourself authentically and vulnerably
  • A refreshed sense of joy and embodiment
  • A sense of humanity and connection with like-hearted participants
  • Confidence in moving and being seen, just as you are

This is a supportive space where curiosity is encouraged, laughter is welcome, and no prior experience is needed. Whether you're working on your vulnerability, seeking connection, or just a new way to move and be, Somatic Studio: Play and Co-Regulation offers a playful path to joy and embodiment.

Come as you are. Let’s play.
