Overview

Get ready to get in tune with your body and build some serious body awareness at the Somatic Movement Foundations Workshop!
Details

In these somatic dance sessions, we don’t move to perform, we move to feel.Guided by breath, sound, and rhythm, you’ll be invited into a full-bodied journey through sensation. With curated music and somatic prompts, we begin in stillness and build toward release - letting the body swell, shake, and speak in its own wild language. Then, we descend again, into integration, softness, rest.No steps to follow. No pressure to “do it right.” Just space to feel what’s true - and move it through.

What to Expect

In this class, you’ll:

  • Deepen your connection to your physical and emotional body.
  • Unwind tension and emotional residue through simple, body-led prompts
  • Awaken your nervous system’s natural rhythm - moving between activation and regulation
  • Explore dance as ritual, expression, and reclamation, not performance

No dance experience needed. Just a body, and a willingness to listen. This isn’t choreography. This is cellular expression.

How to Prepare

Come as you are. Dress in comfy clothes you can move in. I like to have a journal next to me as sometimes inspiration or downloads come through when i’m really creating space to get out of the mind and into the body.

Session Door Policy

Every Session begins at the scheduled time, and the Zoom room will lock two minutes after we start. Once the container closes, late entry won’t be possible. This helps protect everyone’s focus, safety, and nervous system.Arrive a little early if you can.Let your body land.Your timeliness supports the whole group.
